The EASA Together4Safety Rotorcraft Safety Promotion Community has been launched on the new-look EASA Website.

You can access the website at the link here:

When you first access the Rotorcraft Community page you can register with the site and join the community – this will enable you then to comment on the Safety Topics that are posted and to start discussions of your own in the Safety Topics area or to make posts in the Stream.  Registration is not required to see the information on the site.

The website contains the following information and EASA will continually add historical material to the Safety Topics as well as adding all the new work that we are doing in the ESPN-R.

  • Latest News:  A page with the most recent information that we will update on a monthly basis.
  • COVID-19 Page:  A page with information on COVID-19 as it specifically applies to the Rotorcraft Community.
  • Priorities and Safety Actions:  Information on the Roadmap, EPAS and the status of EPAS Actions.
  • Safety Analysis, Accidents and Occurrences:  The Annual Safety Review for Rotorcraft as well as an area to provide summaries of recent accidents.
  • Safety Challenges by Domain:  Currently one page – but later a page for each of the main Domains that we will build on with specific information about managing risks for different helicopter activities.
  • From Take-Off to Landing:  Again, currently one page but can be expanded to provide safety information across the different phases of flight.
  • Safety Topics A-Z:  The part that we will update continually as the work progresses.  Over the coming weeks we will upload historical material so that everything is there and of course we will have lots of new things coming soon as well.
This Rotorcraft Community complements 2 successful LinkedIn ESPN-R Group (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/7453300/) and ESPN-R Hoist Operation Group (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/8693588/), which you can of course continue using when you have news and info items to share.
